I was chatting with Bill's brother after learning of Bill's passing and they both agreed that their too brief time in Piedmont were great times. I remember a slumber party at Bill's house in the 10th grade when his parents were out of town. Several of us were running around town later in the evening when Bill Holmes set of a cherry bomb in front of Gretchen Peterson's house and the cops caught some of us. Remember the MyEyes and the Lumberjacks?

Bill, Stan Schiffman, and I (along with Bill's friend Jay) spent six weeks touring Europe right after PHS graduation.  It was a great adventure.   Wish we'd kept in contact.
