I am saddened to learn today that Lowell tragically died in a small plane outside of Chico on Wednesday May 1, 2019. Although Lowell was an excellent pilot for several years, he had stopped flying a few years ago. The pilot Lowell was with in the crash was a good friend . The pilot and another passenger are in critical condition. Lowell and I became very good friends over the past 2 years when I'd visit my son in Chico and we'd often share dinners and good wine. Lowell was a wonderful and generous man, husband, father, and friend.
